Doxa Church Values
It is a general rule for us at Doxa Chuch to refuse to use cliches and acronyms for just about anything at the church, but our core values are our one exception. We speak about our core values in terms of the acronym G.R.A.C.E. We believe that grace is absolutely central to our mission and message, and it just so happened that each of our core values started with a letter from the word grace, so we just couldn't resist.
Global Missions
Doxa Church is a missional church that seeks to actively fulfill the Great Commission to make siciples of all nations. We believe that God is passionate about reconciling the lost people of the world back to himself. At Doxa Church, we accomplish global missions through personal evangelism, church planting, strategic prayer, and international missions ventures.
Relevant Worship
Doxa Church is a Jesus focused church made up of people that seek to live worshipping Jesus in a manner that is relevant to contemporary culture. We believe that God is not afraid of culture and that he expects his people at engage their culrure with the absolute truth of Scripture. At Doxa Church, we seek to analyze the culture and create our worship gatherings in such a way that unchurched people can understand them.
Authentic Community
Doxa Church is a relational community that places high value on authenticity. We believe that true life change only happens in the context of small groups of Christ-followers sharing life together. At Doxa Church, we accomplish authentic community by prioritizing family, and by encouraging everyone to actively participate in one of our link groups.
Creative Service
Doxa Church seeks to creatively meet the needs of our immediate coumminity through acts of service. We believe that God intends for his people to win the respect of our unbelieving neighbors by humbly serving them. At Doxa Church, we encourage everyone to regularly sacrifice their time and resources to meet the needs of our community.
Effective Discipleship
Doxa Church is a training oriented church that views every member as a missionary. We believe that the role of church leaders is to train followers of Jesus to be spiritually mature and active in ministry. At Doxa Church, we expect every member to submit themselves to the rigors of training, and to reproduce their relationship with Christ in the lives of others.
